What Como 1907 has taught us about Spanish football and daring to sign young players

𝗦𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝘆 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 🌍📈

After the interest generated by my previous study on the international destinations of Primera RFEF players, I decided to carry out a new analysis focused on players from 𝗦𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

The study excludes teams relegated from LaLiga and covers the period between the 2020/21 season and the beginning of August 2025/26. It confirms a clear trend: 𝗟𝗮𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗮 𝗛𝘆𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝘆 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱.

Primera RFEF. an increasingly international league 🌍⚽️

After conducting a study on player movements in recent years, I can confirm that Primera RFEF has become a league increasingly followed by international clubs.

Having worked in the league, I know firsthand the competitive level and potential of the players. Although many players make the leap to Segunda División, it is increasingly common for them to make the move to quality international competitions.

📊 The main destinations since the creation of the Primera RFEF have been:

🌍 In addition, emerging markets are beginning to stand out, looking to Spain to sign talent:
